पिछले साल गूगल ने हिंदी असिस्टेंट अलो को अन्य फोन के लिए अंग्रेजी व जियो 4जी फीचर फोन में खास तौर से उपलब्ध करवाया था। अब हिंदी असिस्टेंट फीचर गुरुवार से यूज़र के लिए जारी कर दिया गया है। हमने एंड्रॉयड 7.0 पर चलने वाले एलजी जी5 में इस असिस्टैंट का इस्तेमाल किया। 'नमस्ते' बोलने पर यह बोलकर 'नमस्टे' में जवाब देती है। साथ ही एक स्माइली के साथ 'namaste' लिखकर आता है। इस फीचर के लिए फोन के होम बटन को कुछ सेकेंड के लिए दबाकर रखना होगा। साथ ही अगर आप 'नमस्ते' हिंदी में लिखा देखना चाहते हैं तो सिस्टम लैंग्वेज विकल्प में जाकर हिंदी चुनना होगा।
गूगल असिस्टेंट की टेक्निकल प्रोग्राम मैनेजर पूर्वी शाह ने बताया, ''गूगल असिस्टेंट पूरी तरह भारतीय है। यह आपकी भाषा में आपकी चीज़ें समझता है। बिरियानी की रेसिपी से लेकर क्रिकेट स्कोर जानने तक यह आपकी मदद करेगा।''
